What size is a standard cement bag in Kenya?+
Most Portland cement is sold in 50kg bags. We stock Simba (including 32.5R), Bamburi, Rhino and Rai. Tell us your mix design or block count and we’ll estimate bags plus delivery.
What do D8, D10, D12 and D16 rebar sizes mean?+
The number is the approximate diameter in millimetres: D8 = 8mm, D10 = 10mm, D12 = 12mm, D16 = 16mm. Larger diameters carry more load. Your engineer or mason should specify diameter, spacing and length — we supply the bars.
What mabati gauge thickness should I buy?+
Gauge 28 is thicker and stronger for long spans and commercial roofs. Gauge 30 is the most common residential choice. Gauge 32 is lighter and more budget-friendly. We match gauge to purlin spacing and wind exposure.
Which BRC mesh do I need — A98, A142 or A610?+
A98 is common for many house slabs, A142 for medium-duty floors, and A610 for heavy/industrial slabs. Always follow your structural drawing. We stock all three and can load mesh with cement and rebar.
How long does delivery take across Kenya?+
Nairobi and environs: same day or next day. Nakuru and Eldoret: typically 24–48 hours. Mombasa, Kisumu and most other counties: 48–72 hours after order confirmation. Large or remote loads may need a scheduled truck.
Is there a minimum order quantity?+
We supply from a few bags or bars for small jobs up to full truckloads for estates and warehouses. Delivery is more economical when you combine cement, steel and roofing on one trip — WhatsApp your location for an exact quote.
Do you supply roofing accessories with mabati?+
Yes. Ridges, valleys, gutters, roofing nails and treated timber can ship in the same load so your site is ready for installation.
What warranty do Heritage Mabati sheets carry?+
Selected profiles carry a written warranty of up to 30 years covering coating performance when installed as specified. Ask for the warranty sheet with your quote.
